Flattering for plus size figure
I’m 5’6″ 230 lbs 38DD chest, ordered XL in green. Perfect size for me. It’s not tight but also not loose on the chest for me. It cuts in the right place so it’s emphasizing chest but hides the belly. It’s flowy but not overwhelmingly wide nor it bulky or boxy. Fabric itself is thin and light, perfect for a warmer weather. Print is bright, didn’t fade at all after few washes( I washed on cold, delicate, no dryer, I dry it on a hanger.) My only complaint that elastics on sleeves are a bit tight. It’s fine when sleeves are down but as I was moving my sleeves were moving up too and it was a bit tight. Overall very pretty and flattering design for a plus size figure. I wore it on vacation, had many compliments. Plan to buy more colors.

Beautiful fabric, so comfortable!
Never in my life have I bought two dresses identical except for their color, but I’ve enjoyed my green version of this dress for years and really wanted a coral one. When it arrived, I was so glad because it’s just like my first one! It’s a happy dress! It makes me feel happy, and people who see it feel a little happier too.A few particulars: I’m 5’4″, 148 lbs. and I ordered XXL according to the size chart. The dresses come about half-way down my calves, pretty much like the Amazon photos show. I like clothes that are easy to get on and off, and these garments fit that bill. They’re loose but not huge; you don’t feel as if you’re wearing a sack because the fabric is so soft and hangs so nicely from the bodice gathering. I’ve washed the green one repeatedly in the machine. Sometimes I wear a short-sleeved shirt under the dress for warmth because I want to wear it even when it’s kind of cold outside. The neckline is too low for my body, but it’s easy to arrange the tasseled ties to close it up part way; a safety pin would be even more secure. The new one came packaged tightly in a plastic bag, so it was incredibly wrinkled. I considered trying to iron it but resorted to washing it instead. It came out perfect after a short, gentle machine wash–no wrinkles at all. One other thing: My daughter-in-law ordered one of these dresses in blue, and it turned out to be made of a totally different fabric that’s stiff and polyester-y and that doesn’t drape well at all. If you get one of those, send it back and insist on getting a garment that’s made of the cotton blend advertised.

Absolutely beautiful dress but too much material – Hangs like a tent!
Let me say that I absolutely love this dress! I’m 5’8′, 239 lbs, with a mostly hourglass figure. I ordered the pink dress in a XXLarge. It fits beautifully on top. I love the colors and pattern and the material is lovely. It fits great in the arm length too. (Not too sure about the double ties at the chest but that’s no biggie.) The dress looks very nice from the front but when I turn to the side and look at it, it is not flattering at all. I look like I’m wearing a muumuu or tent! It’s just too much material and it adds way too much volume. Otherwise, this dress is super comfy, beautiful and fits well. If I ordered the XL, I think it would be too snug across the bust as this XXL fits just right and I think there would still be the issue of too much material in the dress. I’m returning it and I hate it but I want to feel good and beautiful in what I wear and this doesn’t do it for me.

It’s okay
I wanted to love this dress. But, I am pear-shaped and not able to find dresses that fit properly on Amazon. I love the many tops I’ve ordered and so many other items, but the fit of dresses is not flattering for my body style. I am keeping this dress because I love the colors and the fabric. If I wear a blazer over it, it works. I normally wear 2x which is a little large in tops but loose and flowing. But in dresses the shoulders are so very large compared to the lower portion of the dress. While the dress fits from the waist down, the top is huge. Over-all most dresses I’ve tried look too big and baggy on the upper body, not flattering at all. On the plus side, I love the fabric, the long sleeves with elastic at the wrist and the colors are lovely. Oh, the length is mid-calf and perfect. So, there’s a lot to like, if only the fit was better.

Great dress!
This is an absolutely wonderful dress. It is lightweight, vibrant, and great for summer. I do want to mention that I followed the advice of others and ordered a size up. I usually wear a 10/12 and that is typically a large, and I ordered an XL and it fits perfect. As others have mentioned as well, itâs very snug in the chest area. I am a 34B and if I were larger it would be too tight. I am 5â3â tall and it goes to my mid-calf.Overall, I love the dress. I donât care what size it is as long as it fits well, and it does, and it is also extremely comfortable and pretty.
